Generative AI is rapidly reshaping the workforce our students will enter—but the goal of education is not to teach students to rely on AI for answers. It is to teach them to think. In this session, educators will explore how to future-proof students by using generative AI as a tool for deeper thinking rather than a replacement for it. Participants will examine key workforce skills such as critical thinking, ethical decision-making, AI collaboration, and information verification, while exploring practical classroom strategies. Attendees will leave with ideas for helping students use AI responsibly, question its outputs, and develop the human skills that remain essential in an AI-driven world. *Generated through a thought partnership with ChatGPT*
