About me
Dr. Kristin Edwards is the Director of Digital Teaching & Learning and Chief Information Officer for Burke County Public Schools in Morganton, North Carolina. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Lees-McRae College, a Master’s in Instructional Technology and Media from Appalachian State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Edwards held various roles during her 19-year career, including elementary and middle school teacher, instructional technology facilitator, assistant principal, principal, and postsecondary success coordinator.
