About me
With more than 20 years in education, spanning middle school, community college, and now as a high school media coordinator, I am deeply committed to inclusion, community partnership, and building student leaders. With a background in English and Creative Writing, I thrive in spaces filled with words and ideas and enjoy collaborating creatively with teachers and community partners. Picture books are one of my favorite instructional tools, even at the secondary level, because they offer quick yet powerful opportunities for connection, reflection, and learning. I am also passionate about STEAM education and intentionally weave it into nearly every lesson and collaboration, creating accessible, engaging experiences that empower all learners.
