About me
I bring 28 years of teaching experience across science education and instructional technology. I taught Chemistry I, II, and AP Chemistry in a rural district for 15 years before teaching physical science, biology, and earth science for nearly 10 years at an urban alternative high school. For the past three and a half years, I have served as an Instructional Technology Facilitator at three inner-city high schools, where I presented PD, coached teachers on technology integration, and taught a student Technology Help Desk class. This fall I will teach the middle school CTE Paxton-Patterson Lab course at Knox Intermediate School. I enjoy reading, crocheting, jewelry making, 3D printing, and crafting with my Cricut machine. My husband Alan and I love to travel, find new restaurants, and ride bikes together on the Virginia Creeper Trail.
